We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son of God as Savior and Lord of the World and the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the foundation of all thought and deed. TOS intends to be a fellowship of followers of Jesus according to the example found in the Scriptures.
TOS is a protestant independent ministry, organizationally not joined to the Lutheran state church, but our faith is based on the protestant creed “Redemption by Grace alone”. It is part of the worldwide Church of Jesus and of the charismatic movement, which currently numbers approx. 600 million believers from all denominations and it acknowledges the statutes of the International Evangelical Alliance (Link: www.worldevangelical.org).
We are very much aware of the fact we need the experience and revelation of other believers. Therefore we seek contact and cooperation with other churches, groups and Christian fellowships. The concept is a “church without walls”, not closing our eyes to the needs of the world, but rather putting the gospel message into practice in word and deed.
According to Acts 1:8, its calling is local, national and international: ”But you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
