![]() Program The Star of David connects important and symbolic locations of the Holocaust. In order to be able to cover this distance on foot (approx. 1500 miles), the overall route is divided into one main route and several regional routes. We will cover the main route from Buchenwald to Sachsenhausen in three days. For the regional routes, the participants of the main route will split into teams for one day to join believers from each respective region to walk that section for the day. The March of Life 2008 is framed by a preparation day in Leipzig prior to the march and a final service at the end. On several evenings there will be public meetings and services in churches and memorials along the way with an open invitation to all.
