Facing the Past – Reconciliation – Commitment

The March of Life took place from August 9 to August 16, 2008 in the former communist part of Germany. It is a symbol against repression and silence, for reconciliation, forgiveness and restoration in the former eastern communist part of Germany. Believers across all denominations, from Germany and abroad walked hand in hand with Messianic friends and Jewish Holocaust survivors along a symbolic Star of David that connects important locations of the Holocaust.
