A Personal Invitation by Pastor Jobst Bittner

For Zion's sake will I not be silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a flaming torch. (Is 62:1)

Dear friends,

At the March of Life last year, after we had walked through the gates of the former concentration camp of Dachau, I discovered a chart at the exhibition that shook me to the core. I had been interested to know in which areas of Germany death marches had taken place, and so my eyes fell on the territory of the former Eastern part of Germany. Here the map on the wall was literally covered with black dots that stood for concentration camps and their numerous satellite camps, as well as killing institutions and death marches. Prior to the complete breakdown of the Hitler regime, they wanted to eliminate all traces, so hundreds of thousands of starving and dying prisoners were sent on so called death marches to their sure death. Almost every road and highway in the former Eastern part of Germany was covered in blood.

In prayer we felt the need to have a ?March of Life 2008? in the former Eastern part of Germany that would change the spiritual drought in the land and bring fresh life through identificational repentance, prayer and the commitment to stand by our Jewish inheritance. Christians from many different nations will walk hand in hand together with Messianic believers in the form of a star of David from August 9 through 16 to place a new seal on the Eastern part of Germany through the prayer and reconciliation march.

Throughout the ?March of Life? we will have services and meetings at central memorials and in various churches. The Holocaust survivors Jonathan and Rose Price and Peter Loth will be there, along with the Messianic musicians Ted Pearce and Arni Klein. I am asking you to incorporate the ?March of Life? into your plans for schedule and vacation, and I invite you to join us from August 9 through 16, 2008.

It would be a great privilege for us, if you could come to Germany and help us letting this spiritually dry land flourish once again.

Sincere regards and blessings
